Fostering Meaningful and Creative Connections in Higher Education: Contributions from Music Education

This paper focuses on contributing to the reflection importance of providing opportunities foster meaningful and creative connections in higher education. In a context growing plurality, heterogeneity diversity backgrounds, languages, cultures, identities, roles, purpose influences sociocultural relations professional interactions that occur are formed within education communities knowledge learning, which explored from perspective music A narrative approach participant’s views about their participation an elective program was developed inside framework informal Issues were discussed most across datasets by participants individual accounts expressed through themes fall into three broad areas: previous musical experiences, significant for participation, perceptions program. Results suggest provided with safe emotional, social, cultural, experience, thus seen as enriching factors.
